My Fellow Marion County Republicans,
Beginning Monday May 18, thru Friday May 22, is early voting for the Republican Primary Runoff.
This runoff will concern several races. We are listing them below.
US Senator:
John Cornyn (Incumbent) and Ken Paxton
Texas Attorney General:
Chip Roy and Mayes Middleton
Railroad Commissioner:
Jim Wright and Bo French
Criminal Courts of Appeal, Place 3:
Alison Fox and Thomas Smith
Traditionally, runoff elections do not turn out a lot of voters. However, the Marion County GOP is HIGHLY encouraging every Republican in this county to get out there and vote. These elections set the tone for choosing our candidates for the General Election in November 2026. Democrats have fielded candidates in all statewide and state level offices. They are energized and are wanting to take some seats away. We cannot allow that to happen.
Get out there and early vote, and make your voice heard! After this week, the only time you can vote in this election will be May 26, 2026 from 7am to 7pm at all polling sites in the county.
In Service to Marion County Republicans,
Hunter Bonner
Chairman, Marion County Republican
