Filing Season Has Begun

Fellow Marion County Republicans,

Filing season is now upon us.

If you are wanting to serve as a Precinct Chair in the Marion County Republican Party, filing season started on September 9 and runs through December 8.

For all other offices, filing season will start on November 8 and runs through December 8.

A Precinct Chair's function is to grow the Republican Party. They assist at election time with sign placement, getting out and encouraging people to vote (especially during primaries), and serve on the County Executive Committee. This committee administers the business of the local party.

Note: There is no filing fee or requirement for a person to run as a Precinct Chair.

There are certain requirements in order to file to run for office. You may apply either in person, by mail, or by email.
